Literature


Literature in the Renaissance was adapted to the new advancements in technology, religion, and social and political changes. There was more exploration, humanism, and biggest of all, theatre. Writers and playwrights from the Renaissance created some of the themes, storylines, and plays that would be used for 500 years in the future. These included works by Shakespeare and others, like Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, etc.
