On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres
Was a book written by Copernicus in 1532, and published in 1543. The book explained that the planets orbited the Sun, not the Earth. Included a model of the Solar System, and the path of the planets. The book was banned by the Catholic Church in 1616 because of its theories.
